I learned a new word today: mereology.
The theory of extended individuals in their relationships to whole and overlapping....compare the Calculus of Individuals.
Now, I do not profess to be a trained metaphysician, nor particularly schooled in physics, calculus, nor comparative religion, yet the odds of my wandering upon this word, on this day, when all I wanted to do was contribute to a friend's blog - for the first time - is too grand to dismiss.
Any and all who might want to educate me, welcome. Obviously, this was an idea whose time had come, when the student is ready the teachers will appear blah blah blah....
